Question: My Mom is having big problems with the Dept. of Community Care Licensing. The Preschool she owns was opened in 1982, she became Partner then Sole Owner in 2006. The License to operate was under her previous Partner's name. When she tried to apply for a License to operate her application was rejected twice. Licensing cites false reasons like her English is not good enough, she has an accent, the facility is unsafe. This although the Fire Dept informed Licensing the Preschool is a very safe Facility.
Please help if you have any suggetions as this is our Lifelihood.
