Highschool sucks?

Question: i just transferred to a new school today and im a junior. everybody at the new school just stares at me and when i try to talk to them they just kinda blow me off. it just sucks, i feel like such an outsider. what should i do?
Answers: Just be yourself and I'm sure there will be people who you will make friends with this year. And those people who shrug you off you should just ignore them. You will be make friends soon! don't worry about it.
This is just dismal. Just focus on your education! I'm kinda alone sometimes too...it won't matter in a few years!
Find kids who have the same interests as you, or talk to someone in class... maybe you can help someone with homework or ask someone else for help. Transferring to a new school can be difficult, but its a great opportunity to learn how to talk to people and strike up conversation. Good luck!
That's so sad! It's hard to move when you're that far through your high school career. For now, just concentrate on your classes, once they get used to you being there people will start to warm up to you more. Try introducing yourself to some people at lunch, go up and explain that you're new and ask if you can sit with them. Lunch is always a good way to get to know people.
i will list some things...

high school goes by fast
worry about your future, cause junior year is the most inportant
stay in touch with other friends.
Aw, first thing is that you are Not a nobody as your name so erroneously suggests! As someone else pointed out, it must be that much more difficult transferring to a different school as a junior in high school and perhaps 'feeling like a fish out of water'. It seems that most cliques have been formed and so forth. You can adjust though. Perhaps the students were just sort of trying to 'size you up' if you know what I mean. You know how judgemental teens can be ;) I used to be one and dealt with a lot of judgement from others. Perhaps you can look into some afterschool clubs and/or volunteer office aide positions available to help you feel more a part of the school. And most importantly as another postee mentioned, keep your studies as your number one priority while studying the lecture notes each day and any assigned reading and not cramming for tests. The rest should come with more school involvement.
just be yourself, when they see that your cool, they'll want to be your friend. those who blew you off dont know you, so just get out there and be yourself.

Lucks and kisses
