Children abusing teachers?
Question: hi. i just wanted to vent. It's not just teachers that abuse children, but also children that abuse teachers. i have had it with the daily verbal abuse and random (usually while trying to break up a fight) physical abuse. I don't know how much more it will take for me to snap, but this school system is really failing. I admit, I might not be the best teacher, but I'm no joke. I'm strict, I'm knowledgeable, and I'm a fourth year teacher, but NY school systems sucK big time. Anyway. I'm home hitting pillows, so I ahve to get back to my tension release activity.
ps i got a bruise today, from trying to break up a fight. What is wrong with kids today?? I know it was not that bad when I was growing up!!
Answers: well thats the law nowadays, and its unfair. they mostly are trying to protect their clientèle but not giving any protection to those who are serving them faithfully.
Oh, wow .. I'm sorry. Maybe you should try working at another school. Sounds like some rotten kids. Kids today are just spoiled, and they're exposed to a lot on TV that encourage that kind of behavior. Parents let them see what they want and don't tell them that that kind of behavior is wrong.

I am so sorry to hear that you are being abused by some students. I taught over thirty years and have seen many changes. If things do not change or if you can not get into a better area, I believe that I would find something else to do. You are young and I'm sure you can use your degree and skills in another area. Life is too short to be miserable. If I was your age and having these problems, I would even consider going back to graduate school to get another degree. I am retired and I feel for you. Teaching can be the most rewarding job in the world, but this is unacceptable for a lifetime. I really do feel for you. I was wondering if you have a supportive principal. God Bless You!

teenagers arent all like that i left school 3 years ago and i never hurt the teachers in any way.
have you tried sitting down and talking to them or maybe reporting them
