I have a BIT of a problem?
Question: im studing medicine, but 2 be honest... i have no idea how 2 study, and i need help NOW cos im FAILING fast!!!
so any tips/ ideas/ suggestions on how 2 study?
Answers: Well, u really wanna become a doctor right?Then first of all have ur emotional stable..say to urself tat it is do or die kind of situation. Next tips: Make ur own short notes using all sort of colours...this will help u so the memorizing part. For parts tat u need to understand, read to urself..actually more like talking to urself. Read from the books of notes, once u think u have understood, tell the whole part to urself again but this time dun use the book n explain according to ur own words. It really help once u have understood it. If u dun understand, try asking someone who cud explain to u better. NO last minute study in medicine. Be consistent n keep working. Check ur progress by doing short quiz if u like. Keep away from computers n entertainment stuff if it keeps distracting u. some ppl needs music while they study..if u do..jus play some light soft music. And for all those many things tat u need to memorize...try making funky notes with A4 size papers n stick it places around ur room which u see often. Bathroom door maybe...Well..this is wat i have to offer u so far. good luck n all the best. God bless. :)
Find a place with no computers phones or tv and dont bring your cell phone or mp3 player. Dont leave that room until you are done
there are alot of book written on this topic. Its usually a behavioral issue, you have to retrain yourself. go to the library or bookstore and invest 10 bucks rather than asking people on here, its worth it. We need good doctors so dont let this prevent you from achieving your goal
What I have done for studying is write down notes in your own words, then record it and listen to it. You will have heard yourself say it, and have said it yourself enough to have studied enough.
