The previous answer was pretty good, so I'm going to just add a couple of thoughts that come to mind about the PCAT.

1) Time FLIES during that exam... dunno why, but if you let yourself get bogged down even for a bit on a particular question, you probably won't finish that section. It's best to skip around and answer the easy ones first, then go back to the harder ones.

2) On the Essay Writing portion, 30 minutes went by and I basically had an outline and an opening paragraph. It is better to write on a high school level and FINISH, then to waste time sounding elegant in the opening paragraph, only to hear 5 minutes left with most of your paper still to write.

3) Relax!!! Most people psych themselves out and don't do as well as they could have if they would just have relaxed. Try to tell yourself that it's just another hoop in a LONG list of hoops one has to jump through on the road to pharmacy school. I know, I just completed the process and got accepted for Fall, 2007. Good luck!
